since i am going down to my boyfriend's for thanksgiving (seeing his family - who, incidentally, does not like me very much), i decided to bring vodka. i have been telling him about this vodka that is produced in small batches at this little distillery near my hometown, and he has become obsessed with it. i had to go to two different liquor stores in the area today to find it. first, i walked in on two frat boys listening to the football game. when they didn't have it, i exclaimed "balls!" and they laughed. then, i went to the second one, and the man ringing me out expressed his disbelief that i had had this vodka before and that i actually liked it. i was a little insulted. then, his co-worker commented on my shirt. please, as if anything you could say would be interesting to me.
but i got the vodka. and i plan on drinking most of it by my self. within the first hour of the thanksgiving celebrations.
no wonder they don't like me very much.
